Hi!

I'm Lara – a Motion Designer, Director, and First Assistant Director based in Berlin.

In 2014, I moved from the countryside to Berlin to study Film & Motion Design at BTK. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in 2018, I worked as a Media Producer at the production company Drive beta.

Since 2020, I've been working as a freelancer. My directorial debut „not funny“ premiered at the Zeitimpuls Short Film Festival in 2021.

My work is shaped by humor, surreal imagery, and female perspectives – with strong women characters, a clear point of view, and a desire to make an impact. I have a passion for analog animation techniques and bring experience in both 2D and traditional hand-drawn animation.
